I am not sure what you mean. We use side A as classwork. I teach the lesson we always do some practice with the new lesson on scratch paper or a master. I let the kids work on side A alone, then I grade it with them back at my desk. They pick up their spelling to work on in the meantime. Side B is homework every night except on Friday when I give a test. About once a week we do a lesson together on the overhead. I stamp it with a "done together in class" stamp. Also i give a big sticker if they miss two or less on side A. My kids would rather work on their own because they like to get the sticker. I hope this helps
