Geez, you have put into words what I have been saying for years. I love your words and plan to use them with all my teacher friends. AND the principal, and the superintendent who tell me to modify, modify, modify. I'm so sick of kids passing along because they have an A on the report card, however the A is on a 1st grade level, not the 3rd grade level. It's time someone opened the parents eyes WIDE OPEN.
