HI no actually it isn't....it's just that soon after Christmas of 98 - January of 99 is when my dad has a series of strokes and it was all down hill from there....so Christmas and Thanksgiving are triggers I guess....we| actually put him in the hospital on the day of his 80th birthday....and he never came home again...went to a nursing home and then of course he dies...it's just so hard dealing with the death of parents....and especially when they're sick and you watch the progression of death. I think we've become a society that wants it all neat and tidy...you know go to sleep and never wake up again....not | | prolonged illness and then death...I guess added to that I was such a daddy's girl even when I grew up....and my son was very close to his grandpa Grandpa had a special name for Nick- called him nickel or sometimes dime....his quirky sense of humor - so we do have such a hole in our lives. Cherish the time you have left that's my advice
