homework motivation

Here's what works for my kids this year. I have the letters H O M E W O R K on big magnetic stars. Each day that EVERYONE brings back their homework assignment, I put up one letter on the chalkboard. Once we spell the entire word we celebrate! (watch a video with popcorn, an extra recess, eat lunch in the room, anything you think most kids will want!) This seems to motivate my kids.
