but next year, have your students make calendars for their parents. I get a blank pattern for each month (I found them in a teacher's reproducible book) and print it on legal size paper. Then they have some room at the top of each month to draw a picture that goes with the month. I also make the kids number the calendar. They need help with the first 2 months, then they can just look at a reg. calendar and do it on their own.It takes time, and you have to plan ahead. Keep it in mind for next year!
