volunteers in the classroom

I have a similar situation 12 parents a week,a partner teacher and another parent from the afternoon class who wants to help me as well. It is nice in one way but its like running a small business or something. I feel pressure to have something, busy work for them to do. I'm not that organized to have stuff ready or planned ahead of time. If I don't keep them busy then they watch me an evaluate my teaching, or they come up with elaborate plans to do something like paln a way overboard party (for the kids) one mom even organize dwith dividers and labled the kids book shelves like a library.Of course that lasted about 5 minutes with the kids and it was all out of order again.I think some of them need to cut the mommy strings or get jobs or something.
