Computer Teacher
By Andrew

Clip to ScrapBook
If you want to be a teacher in most school districts in the US you have to pass the NTE or Praxis in the subject area you want to teach. I live in Mississippi and if i wanted to teach computers in a high school setting, i
would take the Business Education section of the praxis II and get the addon certification of 310 for business technology. They probably word things differently for each state so you should check with your State Department webpage and talk to someone in the licensure department. I don't know very much about the instructional technology program, i know they have it in at some nearby colleges
but i doubt you'd need it to teach elementary computer classes. Here all you would need to do is take a summer workshop. HOpe i answered some of your questions.
