I appreciate the Oreo Cookie idea. That's Great! Try this one too its worked for some of my Gr 3's. Give each (so not to single anyone out)student a popsicle stick and have them personalize it using markers etc. We place them vertically between words to develop spacing awareness. We also use them horizontally for 'mini straight edges' to insure we are printing on the lines. My kids love this. We refere to it as our 'line or word spacers'
