I totally agree...

that parents should not call their child's teacher at home. It is your private time. I devote A LOT of time to my career, I mean A LOT and I would do anything to help and support my students but that is one line I will not
cross. I post homework on "www.schoolnotes.com" every night and they can e-mail me if they have any questions. I check my e-mail each night and respond if necessary. You don't even have to give out your e-mail address, the parents and students can e-mail you through a link on "schoolnotes". It's wonderful!
You need to ask this parent to remember that she has your phone number because
she is a teacher in your school NOT a parent in your classroom. If the other parents do not have the freedom to call you then she doesn't have that right, either. If it keeps up speak to your principal for advice.
