Don't take it personal

Don't forget than when a child talks back or makes rude comments that they are simply trying to get you off of the real problem. These comments are simply used to get you flustered and upset. If you let a child see you get flustered, they see it as a "win" for them. Remember to stay calm and stand your ground. Students will test you to see if you really mean what you say.
