student teach before
By j.l.

I'd say student teach. If you are already two months along, then by the time you are student teaching you will be into your second trimester and over most of the morning sickness, exhaustion, etc. Usually, you feel great
during the second trimester and have more energy. Assuming your student teaching is over well before your due date, you should be able to handle both pregnancy and student teaching just fine. When I was pregnant, I put off going back for my master's during those nine months--it was a big mistake that I regretted because the further I put it off, the longer it took to accomplish my goal.
I became busy with my baby and finishing school no longer seemed like a priority. I honestly think it would be harder to student teach while you have a baby at home--lack of sleep, unpredictable baby illnesses, bringing home work to do while trying to maintain a house and care for a baby are extremely overwhelming. Student teaching before you become a new mother would be one less worry. By the time you have your baby, you will be just about done with the most difficult part of your coursework, then you can relax and enjoy being a mother. Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy. Best wishes for a healthy baby.
