    In truth, being relieved from your job was probably a blessing in disguise, since it gave you some time to rest. However, you were unfairly terminated. You should talk to the union to see what you can do. Maybe it's too late to get your old position back, but you should make sure you're still employed full-time by the district and that you're still on the pay scale.

    By the way, didn't we discuss the "I wouldn't want my child in your class" comment as an inappropriately low blow on this board? (And I'm not talking about Mrs. O.'s diplomatically-stated comment.)
