Clip to ScrapBook
When I was on my last student teaching experience, my mentor would not let me teach unless I had finished the following weeks plans by Thursday morning. She was also quite blunt with any problems she had regarding my work
etc. None of them were major, but it would stop me in my tracks and I would then sort myself out. Perhaps you find it hard to be brutally direct (age difference - whatever) but the style in which you wrote your post is quite gentle, so I think you should address your concerns directly to your student teacher. (eg. You have no concerns about her being a capable teacher, but to meet the
requirements of this assignment she needs to....)

I believe in dealing with the person directly, there is no confusion later on - where she could say "..but you didn't tell me."
