What the professors are trying to do is make sure you are accomadating all learners and learning styles.
Plan your lesson making sure the activities are meeting these needs ( visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.)This is not as hard as it sounds. For example, for the visual learner make sure you use visual cues such as having key words written, instructions written as well as spoken. For the kinesthetic learner(adhd) make sure there are varied activities.
Yes, we do collaborate with the inclusion people. Many times they adapt the activities in the lesson to fit the sturdents IEPs. I know this may not be exactly what you are looking for but I hope it at least gets you started.
