Parent Phone calls

The parent is very nice, but I don't think she is very stable. She is a teacher at my school in another grade level.

Her child has a lot of problems. He "supposedly" suffers from severe depression, borderline schizophrenic.
I don't want to sound rude, but I think the Mom suffers from this more than the child.
She is constantly in my room before and after school. Always wanting to discuss her child. It is starting to get to the point where she is crying in my room discussing her own problems.
Now she is calling me at home. It is driving me crazy.
I don't want to go to my principal, because

he thinks she is great. Literally, he thinks very highly of her, so I don't want to sound like a complainer.

I never receive phone calls from parents. I feel it is inappropriate. So just because she has my number, doesn't mean she should use it for that.
