Home calls

Could you find a balance to this problem by sending a letter home to parents about appropriate times to call? Are there a couple of nights that phone calls could be received before 6 p.m.? Maybe you stay after school for awhile and parents could call you during those hours. I would think that offering parents a time to contact you would give them the answers they need but also guidelines that you can live with.
