Christmas gifts
By JJ

Clip to ScrapBook
I know that all teachers mean the best for their students. But I don't celebrate Christmas, and I remember growing up and being forced to sing Christmas songs, make ornaments, and do other Christmas activities. My teachers
and many other people don't see or understand that when someone doesn't celebrate a holiday, they really don't want to have anything to do with that holiday. I understand that our society is really based around the December holidays this time of year and that's fine. I just want everyone to understand that giving someone an ornament or a Christmas stocking or something with a Christmas
message on it may not be appreciated by all students and/or families. I think a winter gift of a book or something else with no Christmas connection is fine. I don't mean to offend anyone, this is just a personal subject to me.
