I almost ALWAYS buy (gender neutral) gloves any time I catch them on sale during the year. Many times I find them two pair for $1.00 at Just a Dollar stores.
If I am not too strapped for cash, I stuff a shiny ornament in a glove.
So far has been a success every year!
