Hi. It's pretty sick, huh? I am too pregnant and have a fourth grader who began to have accidents a few weeks into the school year. First of all, DON'T you dare try to clean it up! If the child did it, they need to learn from their mistakes. I am not trying to sound rude here, but it's true! I took the child in the hallway during silent reading and I addressed her on the "problem." I just asked her about it. It turns out that her parents are getting a divorce and she is so upset that she can't help it. So often, it might be family life. Maybe you have a guidance counseler at your school who can help the student.Just address her about her problem. I think it is a better option.
