guilt
By Judy

Clip to ScrapBook
Dear Cathy, you should not feel guilty for setting reasonable guilelines and expecting children to follow them. The mother should feel guilty that HER negligence caused the child to not get the points. I teach 6 grade and
always have parents with this excuse. It upsets me that a parent will let their 6th grader stay home alone with every belonging they own and trust them not to burn the house down but if I expect them to return a note signed then I am asking too much. At the beginning of the year I tell them all that I do not care what they have at home completed (homework, forms to be signed) and explin
that the bank does noy care if I am a millionaire, they will still come and get my car if I do not send them the $350 each month. Good luck and let us know how this is resolved. Judy
