I agree with Julianne. Weigh the pro's & con's. Will this affect her grade for the grading period or year? (Do they give grades in first grade at your school?) I would document this incident- keeping the paper and writing down the date you talked to the teacher and comments made, then I would let it pass. If something like this happens again, I would act- going to the principal. Good luck on what you decide!
