Don't do it
By Judy

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello James. I have worked at 3 different schools in my system, not always as a teacher, and may be way off here but want to give you my opinion. There is no way I would ever call each parent every night. One of the principals
I worked for was very sneaky and this would be something she would have a teacher do and then go to the teacher and complain becuase parents were tired of the calling. If you are in need of a behavior plan change, try calling the worst behaved students first and see if there is a chagne. You can also try a notebook system and have the students write in their color at the end of
the day while you went around and checked to make sure they did it correctly. When I was in elementary, I kept up with the behavior on a weekly checksheet that went home every Monday and parents were to sign and return in on Tuesday. Good luck in whatever you choose.
