centers
By teach geade one

Clip to ScrapBook
What grade do you teach and what is your class make up? Choice may not be in the center they visit, but in the activity they do there. If you teach kinder, then there may not be a lot of choice in some centers--you may
have choice in blocks or home living etc. I think the most important thing to remember is that you have to do what works for you and your students. There is not one right way to do centers. However, there are meaningful and unmeaningful ways to do centers. Don't be afraid to try something from someone and merge it with another idea of your own or from someone else. Having centers in
your classroom is a ourney--I have had centers for 5 years and it looks different every year. Please give yourself permission to try and regroup and try so more or you might throw the baby out with the bath water! We can "talk" if you need to get ideas.
