gifts

Clip to ScrapBook
I saw the cutest thing for students. It is called Magic Reindeer Feed. You didn't say what grade level you teach, but I think even my fifth graders would get a kick out of it. Go to google.com and search for Magic Reindeer
Feed. It gives you the ingredients (very simple)-glitter and oatmeal--and the poem that goes with it. I also thought the Snowman Soup recipe was good.
As for gifts within our building, we draw names and have a secret santa for the week before Christmas. No gift is to be over $1 a day. It's a fun way to get in the spirit and share with a friend. We still buy for the people in our
grade level (only 3 of us) and we go together to get the principal a nice gift. Christmas handtowels are always nice for custodians, secretaries, etc. You can usually pick them up reasonably. I try to shop in the summer at sidewalk sales, etc. for gifts for Christmas.
