I know how you feel. It's very frustrating. I'm subbing, and have had only a few assignemnts that lasted a month, but I feel I could handle much more. I just haven't been given the chance. It's a catch 22. I also have to listen to a co worker of mine (at my other job) who subs for a different district. She geats all these long assignments, and then tells me how it's impossible to ever get hired in the district I work for (but has she tried my district? No!). I just want to be hired and prove her wrong.
Hopefully, things will get better for us.
