we can't win 'em all

Clip to ScrapBook
Your care and concern for this child is obvious. I imagine all the attention was one of the reasons for moving schools. Often this is the case. Some parents shop around looking for a place where they can get away with whatever it is they wish to avoid. It's sad that your attention could not help the situation for the student but it is not your fault. We as teachers can only do so much. The ultimate responsibility is with the parent and I've learned to accept what I cannot change. You can rest assured that you did your best to help this child while she was in your class. I imagine you know this but wanted to give you some support for your efforts. Your efforts were honorable and responsible. Keep up the good work with the others in your class.
