Missing Work
By Shannon

Clip to ScrapBook
I also teach third grade. This has been a problem for me too. I am lenient the first couple of six weeks, then they are held accountable. I do what the sixth grade teacher mentioned. They have to copy it onto their own paper during special classes or free time. It is amazing how many learn to keep up with their work. Parents do not have a problem with this when I explain that it will benefit them in future grades. I tell them in future years, they may just receive a zero for missing work. If you find an easier way, I would love to hear it!
