gum and running
By mrs jay

Clip to ScrapBook
I am guilty of both charges...
...Yes I have been seen walking extremely quickly down halls becasue I have a lot to do and the consequences are greater if I don't pick up my class on time than if I am caught running. Also, the studetns are really running---like racing and what not--that is not the samwe thing.

...I chew gum primarily because I don't want to offend my students with certain things that I may have had for lunch.

I also don't think it is right for you to go to the principal. I think teachers have enopught to worry about without having to worry about a sub reporting what s/he feels is righr/wrong.
