Attitude Adjusting...
By Janie

Clip to ScrapBook
Without hesitation students need to understand how their emotional, social, or academic behaviors are being communicated. In my class, we set time for "family group discussion"-this approach has been successful for me to use, maybe minutes, for students to discuss character and how to express our feelings, needs, as well as dealing with anger management. I am to the point with students yet caring and watchful as to the how and the when to carry through the attitude adjusting. Discipline can be fun yet needs to be immediate and consistant. Maybe the school counselor may be a resource for the student if the behavior shows no positive change. Hope this has been of help. Take care.
