Clip to ScrapBook
Technically, your teachers are violating copyright laws. Reproduction of any kind counts as copyright infringement, and the teachers who are copying books for their classrooms are risking a lawsuit from the companies which publish the materials. When you think of it, the materials are being used for public use, just by being in the classroom in the hands of a classroom full of kids. So, they HAVE "gone somewhere."

I think it is best to read all copyright notices before you copy. A publisher will tell you that it's okay to reproduce pages of blackline masters. Also, certain websites allow the photocopying of their materials as long as you only use it them within the classroom.
