Some places to look
By Julie P

Clip to ScrapBook
First of all, check with your career placement office at your college. They should have some sample resumes for you to look over. Also try going to a search engine and typing in Teacher Resumes. Since you are student teaching,
your resume should contain an objective, a description of your student teaching experience, and then any other educational experiences. Include any volunteering, practicums or observations, substitute teaching.

As far as your portfolio goes, ask your mentor teachers for letters of recommendation. This is a great thing to have. You never know when this person will not be available

anymore as a warm contact, but the letter can stay with you forever. Also take pictures of any bulletin boards that you create. These are a great additive to any lesson plans that you might highlight in your portfolio.

Good luck
