Clip to ScrapBook
I was raised like you were. Makes it so hard to believe I have a son like mine. He just does not think like most of us. You and I would respond by taking care of ourselves. He would go live in a gutter. We would be ashamed
to fail. He expects it, and feels no shame when he fails. How did he learn to think that way when he has two parents who think so differently! I fear the consequences--If he were to self-destruct completely, could I live with knowing he was gone (as in dead and gone)if I had used legal force to keep him away? I know what SHOULD work, but nothing that SHOULD have ever has. The
options for the present are pretty clear. The question is if I could live with the consequences if...
If I were sure he would protect himself I think I would seek legal force...unfortunatelly I'm afraid he doesn't value his life as much as I do.
