There is a great website for just this purpose! I actually found it yesterday. It is at www.educationworld.com/a_lesson/lesson198.shtml/
A little lengthy, but I'm sure if you go to the "education world" site you could do a search. I subbed in a classroom today and yesterday (same classroom!) where there were NO plans. Quite frustrating, but "going with the flow" and being flexible is a MUST for substitute teaching.
I work in a pretty accountable district and after 2 years of subbing this was the first time plans were not left. I think it's a rare occurence.
