owl pellets

I also teach second grade and did this activity last year with my students. It took the class about 2 weeks to complete, but the finished product was awesome. We did an entire owl unit, even having an owl volunteer come with real owl to our school from the zoo. We used toothpicks and opened up paperclips as our tools. They had to clean each piece very carefully and then set them up and then they could glue each bone down. Good luck!
