To Jessica - A word of Caution
By Cathy-Dee

Clip to ScrapBook
While this might be upsetting to you - it really is a problem that the Principal probably won't be overly concerned about. Instead it might end up back-firing on you and he will wonder what you think and say about the school
staff outside the school. It could end up that you would no longer be called for subbing in the school.

I don't chew gum, but I have pop (in cans) on my desk as well as hard candy. As the others have said, I talk all day long and my throat gets dry, I need to have something throughout the day for this. I do drink water from time to time - but I enjoy my pop too. My students can

have water-bottles (no pop). The reason for this is they spill - their water bottles fall on the floor, leak, etc., so I do not want pop or juice instead.

Sometimes you have to really think hard about which battles to fight.
