I would like to know what happen at conferences and after? Anything being done? I know in our school the special ed teacher should be doing everything they can -is he recieving maximum minutes of resource. This is a step
we must take in our district before a student can go or go back to self contained. The special ed teacher should be modifying all his tests and work. I had a similar situation where a student was moved out of self contained into the regular class with much objection to the self contained teacher but the admin pushed for it. Here he was struggling to make ends meet and technically failing

when I was modifying every test and worksheet that I could get my hands on. We were able to move him back because we had exhausted all efforts, and there was no support at home-even like showering was an issue. So the home is so important on what goes on at school.
