don't you have rubber gloves for when a child bleeds? By pjm

when ever we have an accident we use/wear our gloves for bleeding and that way lessen any chances of catching anything....have you figured out why the child won't tell? My kids always tell....so you need to find a way | to get her to tell you....I can't think of a way how but maybe someone else on the board will.... can you get some panties and sweat pants for this child and keep them at school - I know they don't get returned but the thought of her sitting wet all day gives me the willies.....maybe going to good will? ask the pto to donate? ask people who have kids her age to donate used ones???? I | | agree with the above post that the parents are negligent......push your school to take action....talk to that vice-principal and have her help you devise some type of plan.... I'd also set this child up on a bathroom schedule....I do that with a couple of my kiddies - they have to go pottie when they get to school and before all recesses, lunch and specials....it has really cut back on the accidents.... also if this is an ongoing problem how do you know that it's not a medical problem? I'm sure the parents haven't checked that out judging by what you've said about them but maybe they'll surprise us and do it or have done it!
