It sounds like you're on the right track. It is very appropriate to thank her and accept the pictures. Instead of taking them all, you could try saying, "These are wonderful, but I'm sure your mom, dad, grandparents, etc would love to have some too. Could you pick one special picture for me to keep?" Then say you are going to take it home and enjoy it there.
