Teacher perks By Renee

When I was a kid my teachers drank, chewed, and ate whatever they wished, and we didn't think a thing about it. There are many rules for kids that don't apply to adults because adults can moderate and make better choices.| Discreetly chewing gum is not a horrible thing. I drink my Diet Cokes every day and I do not feel that it is unjust. I went through five years of college and now grad. school, and deal with a highly stressful job. If I want a Diet Coke, I have earned that right. How can you say adults should follow all of the same rules as kids? Should we raise our hand to speak? Do we need to get | | permission to go to the restroom? No, because we can tell when it is appropriate. Kids cannot. I guess I don't understand why you are so angry. There are many more injustices to kids than the teacher chewing gum.
