Running Records

In my school district, I meet with 3 reading groups a day. I select one child from each group to be the focus child for that day. That is the person that I take the running record on. I do about 15 running records per week. If the student is reading 95% and above on two consecutive running records then I move them up to the next level. I hope this helps.
