game we did
By Emmy

Clip to ScrapBook
We have done this in the past and we really enjoyed it(if you are exchanging gifts). One year we all brought a Christmas book and one year we did an ornament. Anyway, everyone stands in a circle. The leader reads the story "Twas the Night before Christmas" or another Christmas story. As the story was read, we listened for the word "the" or another word that happens frequently throughout the story and every time you heard it you passed the gift(book, ornament, whatever) to the right. You have to listen closely because some of the words happen close together. One time we did it and you had to listen for two words (one you passed to the right and one to the left). It was a lot of laughs and a lot of fun!
Merry Christmas (early)
