Teacher Created Materials have books called Theme for a Day. The books are written on different grade levels. Here are some ideas from the 3/4 and 5/6 grade levels: clowns; zoos; planets; mountains; dragons; sports; colors; ecology; electricity; foods;poetry; Egypt; wild animals; Greece; careers; Rome; musicians; rocks.
The books have lesson plans to go with each theme. Hope this helps.
