1. i have always wanted to be a teacher so i went to college and got my bachelorof science in elementary education

2. the best part of my job is working with the kids. i love seeing the smiles on their faces when they learn
something new or remember something you taught them months ago.

3. the thing i like the least is the pay. another thing is the lack of money for supplies, materials, etc.

4. i think the two most important qualities are patience (especially with younger grades) and the ability to multitask... i find myself doing three things at a time and if i wasn't, things wouldn't get done in

my classroom!

5. I studied everything from psychology to classroom management, to learning to teach math, science, and many other classes.

6. i plan on going back to school to obtain my masters in the next two years.

7. i had many teachers who inspired me to love reading and learning and who inspired me to work my butt off to get what i wanted. i want to chance to provide the same guidance and inspiration for my students.

8. i would change the lousy pay and the lack of funding.

9. there are many things that are unforgettable but i am drawing a complete blank right now...

10. the most rewarding part of my job is working with my kindergarteners. i love seeing their smiling faces and their excitement about learning new things. they are like little sponges that can never get enough!!!!

11. i have never, for a second, thought of doing anything else

12. i teach kindergarten in a private school

13. patience, love, understanding, the ability to plan and implement lessons, and the willingness to work long hours for little money

14. my kindergarten teacher was such an inspiration and made such an impression that i knew i wanted to be a teahcer since KG

15. get as much experience in the classroom as you possibly can (see if local schools need volunteers, volunteer at a younger siblings school); save and laminate everything you think you may be able to use later in your career, even if you don't think you'll be teaching that grade; love the children you are working with and always remember that you are there to teach and guide them and you make a huge impact in thier lives!
