degree

I completely agree with you. Holding a higher degree doesn't mean anything. I have my bachelors in elementary education. I "team teach" KG with someone who has her masters in ECE. She is always throwing that in everyone's
faces. However, when it comes down to it, she cannot write lesson plans, has no idea what our KG's need to know before the end of KG, and no idea how to implement her plans (when she does complete them and actually teach what she has written). It's frustrating that I am basically "mentoring" this person and she keeps throwing that in my face. I found out that she doesn't even have her bachelors
in ed. It's in something like art appreciation so she had no basic ed. classes and it shows in the way she is in our classroom.

Don't listen to people when they put that much importance on a degree. I agree that it does mean something, but not everything!!!!
