Book in a Bag?
By LindaR

Clip to ScrapBook

Is this what you're needing?

There are a number of approaches, but the basic idea is for the students to decorate their bags to illustrate the book, and then place 3-6 objects (depending on grade level) in bag that are related to the story.

During the presentation, the student is to explain the connection of the objects to the story (perhaps read a sentence or paragraph from story that shows the significance of the object).

There are more things that can be done with this project, depending on your expectations and each student's ability and creativity

You could also check out Book Reports in the archives and the Lang. Arts section of Pro Teacher for more ideas on this....Have fun!
