Molly's Pilgrim
By Kathy

Clip to ScrapBook
We connect the book Molly's Pilgrim with a study of the children's heritage. In writing the children write about where their ancestors came from. We use the quote "If you don't know where you came from, how can you know where you are or where you are going?"
The children take home clothes pins (no hinge--round head) and decorate these as people from the country their ancestors originated from. Of course most of the children have a diverse heritage so we have them choose one.
