make turkey headbands. make brown headbands for each child. have them fold long thin strips of colorful construction paper in half and glue it to their headbands.

cut out the center of paper plates. have students glue on squares of colorful tissue or construction paper.

make a large turkey body shape from posterboard. have children curl strips of construction paper with pencils and then glue onto turkey until it's covered.
