Clip to ScrapBook
1. Plan what you are going to do ahead of time.
2. Make it part of your daily work not an extra.
3. The item that the child does, goes in as it is, don't help to fix it up then it is a realistic piece.
4. Make a
tag with a list of skill, outcomes etc you wanted the child to be able to do. Make the tag easy to record on eg tick whether they can do the skill or not.
5. I date all my pieces and try to do one a week.
6. I use lots of photos from a digital camera.
7 The children love looking back at them to see what they couldn't do before but can do now.
I use it as the story of their life
in my class.
This year on the cover we put a gold painted handprint and I typed out on gold paper My Golden Memories. It looks good but any cover that is personal it may be a photo or art work they have done. Email me if you want any other advice.
