Left handed

I agree with Sarah. I, too, am left handed and teach kindergarten. I would not put the letters on the right side as this will confuse your students. I use a stand up prop at their work place and have posters around the room. This is what I would suggest to the mother of this child. The only way to improve their handwriting is to practice, practice, practice.
