reversals
By Kathleen

Clip to ScrapBook
i am a special education teacher. reversals are quite common with most of my students. you might try this - cut tagboard one inch by four inches. on the bottom left side put an * and draw a duck. then go to the top right side and put an * and draw a bat. when the student needs to write a "b", he puts the tagboard on the line by the bat. the edge of the tagboard provides the straight line of the "b" and only allows you to make the circle in one direction. The same is true for the "d" when you place the tagboard on next to the duck on the line. Cursive cures reversals!
